I was the so-called “second shooter” at a wedding this weekend. It’s a fun position to be in because you have more time to look for details and moments that are more easily missed as the main shooter and worrying about the main events. I liked this moment as the dad was waiting for everyone to get ready for the reception introductions. I usually like it best when the subjects are not aware of the camera, because awareness often makes them self-conscious and they start posing.
